ND: [N° 1501] Quando il Ginn tenta di entrare alla festa del collezionista per raggiungere Alex, viene fermato da un muscoloso Bodyguard di colore, che lo minaccia; il Ginn riesce poi a giocarlo, rinchiudendolo in una vasca piena d'acqua legato come un salame. Prima di entrare alla festa, il Ginn schernisce l'uomo con un riferimento a Houdini: se è stato imprigionato per più di un millennio all'interno di un opale racchiuso in una statua, come faceva il Ginn a conoscere Houdini?!
Continuità: [N° 58782] In una delle prime scene, uno scheletro esce letteralmente fuori dal corpo di un uomo: appena uscito è tutto imbrattato di sangue, ma nell'inquadratura successiva è "pulito". Non è un gioco di luci, perché nella scena successiva è di nuovo rosso...

Incongruenza: [N° 110673] Il Djinn (Ginn) entra in un negozio di abbigliamento sotto forma di essere umano (Andrew Divoff). Dopo essersi provato l'abito elegante, la commessa gli chiede se preferisce pagare in contanti o carta di credito. Lui, dopo aver a sua volta domandato a lei "Lei cosa preferisce?", si sente rispondere "Non lo so. . . Contanti?", A quel punto, il Djinn "magicamente" gli fa comparire un mucchietto di banconote da cento tra il seno!! Ok, lei lo prende e non batte ciglio. Ma come faceva a sapere che era la somma giusta se manco gli ha specificato il prezzo del vestito?
Incongruenza: [N° 124304] Secondo quanto affermato dal Djinn, la persona che lo avrebbe liberato dall'opale ove era rinchiuso, avrebbe avuto diritto a tre desideri. Infatti, per tutto il film, qualsiasi vittima del Djinn, esprime UN solo desiderio. E allora come mai, quando Deverest (il Djinn "umano") va' dal capo di Alexandra, prima di entrare, fa esprimere DUE desideri alla guardia di sicurezza (Kane Hodder)?
["Voglio che tu te ne vada!" primo desiderio. "In tal caso dovrai passare attraverso me stesso. E sono curioso di sapere come farai!" secondo desiderio].
