Trucco: [N° 67586] Nella scena in cui il guerriero sta dando la caccia allo stregone Warlock nella soffitta della fattoria è stato usato un pipistrello finto (di gomma o meccanico non so bene).
Incongruenza: [N° 82264] 55'09'': il malvagio stregone (Sands),benché semi-incaprettato dal witchfinder(Grant) con una corta manetta che gli lega assieme pollice ed alluce sinistri,riesce a fuggire balzelloni dalla fattoria degli Amish. Saltando sul piede destro o caracollando faccia a terra valica,senza che nessuno l'insegua da vicino,una collinetta,e finisce in uno scalo ferroviario:cade su un mucchio di sabbia e finalmente (56'04'',non il tempo reale dato che deve aver fatto più d'un chilometro) si decide ad impiegare esattamente sei secondi per svitare due viti che gli serravano le dita.
Incongruenza: [N° 82265] Quando cade nella sabbia,Sands picchia il vertice del capo,e scava una fossetta.
A 58'04'' Lori Singer,eseguendo un rituale voodoo, infila (chissà perché,dato che è sabbia) a martellate un chiodo in quella che,secondo le intenzioni del regista,dovrebbe rappresentare appunto l'impronta della testa di Sands ma che,oltre ad essere esageratamente profonda,ha nella parte inferiore destra un'appendice che si trova al posto dell'orecchio.
Incongruenza: [N° 82266] [1:07:39] Sull'aereo che li sta portando a Boston Lori Sanders dice a Richard E.Grant di stare tranquillo riguardo all'eventuale presenza a bordo dello stregone Sands,perché non può (e non si sa per quale motivo) aver superato il metal detector: mentre loro due si sono imbarcati consegnando in custodia ad una gentile hostess un'elaborata asta di ferro battuto terminante a punta di lancia, lunga più o meno un metro.
Trucco: [N° 82267] [1:22:00] L'asta di ferro a forma di lancia inizia sinistramente a ruotare da sé sopra una lastra tombale: quando comincia a librarsi in aria [1:22:53] si possono distinguere i fili di nylon che la reggono.
